The Barnards are a husband and wife team who have created 4 dinosaur picture books! Erin is the WLA award-winning author/illustrator of the Rhino & Dino series, and Erin illustrated Kent's book Mom Needs a Dinosaur!
Not only author and author/illustrator, but we have also been doing storytimes for over 15 years.
We interact with children through fingerplays, books, songs, drawing, and jokes! We get kids up and moving, then slow them down, and repeat!

In-person storytimes at the Patterson Memorial Library with Mr. Kent are back! Plus Mr. Kent, Mrs. Erin, Razzle, Chomper and Zoodle have over 200 videos still online if you want to see The Barnards in action! The videos have reached thousands so far. Check out the Patterson Memorial Library's Facebook Page or Seabear Press' Facebook page. A You Tube channel was added for a sampling of what is on Facebook.
WANT TO HOLD AN EVENT? AND WHAT DO YOU DO DURING STORYTIMES?
Interested in holding an event? Whether you just want to have an author sell and sign or want a whole storytime, Seabear Press has you covered! Send us an email about what you are thinking and we will give you all of the information that you need - including a PDF flyer of your event if you like to help you advertise. Plus if you can get a neighboring group to book us for back-to-back events, we will split the mileage.
Our storytimes aren't just reading. Of course there will be books, but the author will present a variety of interactive fun that fits your needs such as fingerplays, songs and music, learning to and drawing a dinosaur with Erin, author and illustrator Q&As, candy, bubbles (if you allow it) and book signings where The Barnards will sign, personalize and draw something fun inside of your book while you watch!
